GENERAL INFORMATION |

The AIYFC was established to promote a youth football post season tournament for teams from across the United States. In 2007, our farthest traveled team was from upstate New York, and states that were represented included New York, Ohio, North Carolina, Maryland, and Florida. Held in beautiful St. Petersburg, Florida, the AIYFC guarantees football teams 2 games against similarly aged and weighted teams in exciting championship football action. All teams play their first game on Thanksgiving Thursday. Teams that lose their first game play in the consolation round on Friday. Thursday's winners play in the championship round on Saturday. Trophies are awarded to 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place, and 4th place in all divisions. The AIYFC's mission is more than simply promoting a championship football tournament. There are tournaments all over the country during the Thanksgiving Weekend. AIYFC is meant to be a complete vacation for the entire family. Teams have plenty of off-time, including one entire day, to enjoy the many outstanding attractions in the Central Florida area, including the world famous Gulf Coast beaches, Busch Gardens, The Florida Aquarium, Raymond James Stadium, and more. Teams in the past have traveled to Walt Disney World, just an hour from our hotels.

for eligibility rules. The registration process is simple and straight forward. Once you have decided that the AIYFC is for you, simply: 1. Go to our registration page, and click on the registration form. The registration form is in Adobe Reader format, and you can easily type in the information requested right on your computer, then print it out and send it to us with your registration fee, along with the required certification by your league and conference. 2. Upon receipt of your registration form, we will review your team's ages and weights with tournament rules, and investigate your references and conference certification.
